Our Educational system

Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world” Nelson Mandela.
Since last 74 years we are having doubts on our education system. Education is the main pillar of any nation. Unless we have good and equal system in our country, this question will arise again and again. Our system is unable to manage and apply Good and same type of education in country. Developed countries have strong and advanced education which is making them more prosperous. They are unable to retain what they learn and apply it to day to day life. They lack the ability to critically analyse a situation or a problem and often find it difficult to form opinions of their own. They are not taught to question things and are forced to conform within a rigid framework. So first of all we see what are the levels of education system.

Here are different levels of education starting from Primary school. We have some basic problems when we start even primary level.
And these flaws and problems keep on going till high level.Which are as follows :-

1.The problems associated with the education         system of Pakistan are lack of adequate
   budget.
2.  Lack of policy implementation
3.  Defective examination system
4.  Poor physical facilities
5.  Lack of teacher quality
6. Lack of implementation of education policies
7. Directionless education
8. Low enrolment
9. High scale dropouts
10.Disciplinary policies

Educational budget is the main thing of every country but unfortunately in Pakistan whenever we need to cut expenses ,we cut it from educational budgets ,due to which our education system is going down day by day.

Two types of systems of educations

We have two types of education system in Pakistan
1. Board Exam system
2. A and O level exam system

Board system

Generally in our country this Board exam system is mostly associated with government schools and colleges, means it's a system of middle class community
This examination system of Pakistan is not only outdated but it also does not have the quality to evaluate the performance of learners comprehensively. The examination system of Pakistan tests only the memory of students. It does not evaluate them in all aspects of learning. It is also creating a class difference among students.
Although we have all out class scientists , doctors, and educationist etc are those who have studied in board exam system.
Both the examination system and curriculum are outdated and lack innovation. ... I used to discuss these problems with my friends who were also from different boards; The examination boards and textbook boards should seriously work to fix  all these.

A and O level exam system

A and O Level is the king of conceptual studies. Your examiner will actually read your work, because there is no concept of ‘filling the page’. You will always be advised a certain word limit within which you have to work. But when it comes to key-words and phrases, O Level is just the same as Matric; if you don’t memorise the correct terms, you will not be given any marks.
It also generally represent the Elite class because their fee and expenditures are high.

What Government  should need to do?

There is a need for implementation of national education policy and vision 2030 education goals. An analysis of education policy suggests that at the policy level there are several admirable ideas, but practically there are some shortcomings also.

It may not be possible for the government at the moment to implement uniform education system in the country, but a uniform curriculum can be introduced in educational institutes of the country

Technical education should be made a part of secondary education. Classes for carpentry, electrical, and other technical education must be included in the curriculum.

The reforms required in the education system of Pakistan cannot be done by the government alone, public-private participation and a mix of formal as well as non-formal education can pull out majority of country’s population from illiteracy.

In the end, no matter which system you choose, you will have to work hard in it. There are no shortcuts in life. Your future boss or workplace won’t hire you on the basis of Matric or O Level, they’ll hire you based on your skills and work ethic
